At the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), we undertook the design and build revamp of its Level 1 Lobby, transforming key patient and visitor touch points into functional environments that soothe and support.
Covering the lobby foyer, Donor Wall, and Heritage Walk, the spatial design prioritised patient comfort, functionality and wayfinding. Seating capacity was increased and diversified to offer patients greater choice and comfort for resting, discussion and waiting. Wayfinding signages were enhanced for improved clarity, supporting easier self‑navigation. Together, these thoughtfully reimagined spaces help to create a more seamless and reassuring experience for patients and caregivers.
Delivered under a tight timeline, the renovation demanded precision, agility, and sensitivity to an active healthcare environment.
The renewed space now offers an experience that is not only functional but also uplifting.
