The NPM Zoo: Animal Paintings in the Museum Collection

"Aimed at inculcating values in young audience, one key design element is the usage of fresh pastel hues along with animated illustrations."
Presented in the National Palace Museum (NPM) in 2019, this was one of SPACElogic Taiwan’s first public works commissioned by a government body.
The NPM Zoo: Animal Paintings in the Museum Collection is an exhibition co-hosted by NPM, three public zoos (Taipei Zoo, Hsinchu Zoo, Shoushan Zoo), and the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium (NMMBA)—a first-of-its-kind endeavor.
Designed to inculcate the importance of animals protection, artifacts and ecological preservation, and targeted at young visitors as their main audience,
the graphics adopts fresh, pastel hues along with illustration done in an animated styles.
From ancient paintings, educational displays, to various interactive audio-visual content, the exhibition encourages children to appreciate the significance of animal protection and artifact conservation. SPACElogic Taiwan is proud to be the appointed design and build partner for this exhibition.
